TARGET:
Targeting Asthma Control To Augment Patient Outcomes

A web case-based continuing medical education program
for general practitioners.

Through this platform, you will access a 1-credit-per-hour program developed by a multidisciplinary scientific committee and spearheaded by the Academy for Continued Advancement in Healthcare Education, a non-profit organization founded and governed by a group of physicians who believe that continuing health education is a vital tool for improving medical practice and care.

TARGET uses a unique “reverse” case format that urges clinicians to reconsider their management approach for asthma by starting the case presentation at the end (with severe asthma exacerbation) and examining how the likelihood of such an outcome could have been minimized through optimization of asthma medications.
